For the first time, any homeowner now has a cost-effective, fun and easy way to monitor and manage energy usage throughout the home, at the circuit/appliance level, enabling you to save money, lower your energy costs and keep your family safe. Appliance analysis, diagnostics and alerts help eMonitor users save 10-Percent-20-Percent, on average, off their ongoing electric bill, and in some cases over 30-Percent. The eMonitor hardware is installed at the circuit panel and connects to a Gateway (included) which requires a Wi-Fi connection for operation. Once installed and connected to the internet, you can log in to your eMonitor dashboard from any computer, iPhone, or Android device. Note: The eMonitor requires a separate 2-year software service agreement, sold through Powerhouse Dynamics when the system is being registered.

Installation and Operation
The eMonitor hardware now has wireless capability and installs directly inside your electrical service panel--no more running wires outside your panel. The eMonitor is powered directly from the service panel and communicates wirelessly with the eMonitor Gateway, which is plugged into any outlet within 30 feet of the circuit panel. The Gateway communicates via Wi-Fi with your home's internet connection.
Powerhouse recommends that a qualified electrician perform installation. Certified and trained electricians that can install your unit (for an additional fee) can be contacted through an installation card located in the eMonitor box. The unit supports two main inputs, and both 120- and 240-volt circuits.
For convenience, eMonitor's graphical interface can be accessed from any computer with Internet access (an iPhone app is also available).
The eMonitor Home Energy Monitor is backed by a two-year warranty.
Software Service Contract
The eMonitor requires separate purchase of software service, which covers access to the system on the Internet and through a smartphone, hosting of your data, full back-up and recovery service, free access to all future versions of the software, and, proactive monitoring and analysis to make you aware of both savings opportunities and problems or issues with your home. When registering your eMonitor system online, you will need to sign up for a two-year service contract at .99 per month (or choose the prepaid option for 3, which averages out to .20 a month).
